About
My work has moved from structural systems into the organizational systems that help engineering teams make sound decisions and deliver difficult work responsibly.
Where it began
My interest in engineering began early, inspired by my great-uncle’s work as a head cable inspector on the George Washington and Golden Gate Bridges. His example gave me an early respect for the responsibility and judgment required when engineering decisions carry real consequences.
Across more than 16 years, my career has included nuclear power, electric transmission and distribution, industrial repair, transportation, precast manufacturing, and residential structures. I progressed from senior technical and project roles to Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.
I currently serve as Director of Engineering at STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES.
I approach technical and organizational work in much the same way: understand the real constraint, make responsibility and the decision path visible, and create a practical system that can move the work forward.
Career progression
My career has progressed through four distinct operating environments, each expanding the scope of my technical, program, and organizational responsibility.
2008–2013
Engineer
Built my foundation in precast concrete design, manufacturing, quality, constructability, and coordination with contractors and field teams.
2013–2017
Lead Engineer → Engineering Manager
Moved into a regulated, safety-critical environment, leading structural and mechanical design, plant modifications, outage and emergent-work execution, and coordination with regulatory and licensing stakeholders.
2017–2020
General Engineer → Senior Engineer → Section Engineer
Led transmission reliability, asset-integrity, corrective-maintenance, and capital programs, coordinating operational constraints, environmental work windows, public-safety needs, construction, and contractor execution.
2021–Present
Senior Engineer → Engineering Manager → Director of Engineering
Progressed from technical and project leadership into multi-region engineering management, organizational design, technical governance, talent development, and business-line leadership supporting complex industrial repair and rehabilitation.

Teaching & professional service
Between 2011 and 2021, I taught engineering, surveying, mathematics, and physics as an adjunct instructor or professor at Atlantic Cape Community College, Rowan College at Gloucester County, Camden County College, Salem Community College, Rowan University, and Burlington County College.
My professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and International Concrete Repair Institute, where I serve on Committees 160 and 210 and as Secretary of Committee 160.
Continuing development
I treat leadership development as an ongoing practice. My participation in the Oasis of Courage (OACO) coaching and mastermind program and the International LEAP Network has been important to my continued growth as a leader and to the development of my career.

Outside work, I value time with family and enjoy strength training, spending time outdoors, and the ongoing process of learning how things work.
